About Copenhagen Business School
Copenhagen Business School is a public university in Frederiksberg, in the Copenhagen urban area of Denmark. It was founded in 1917 by the Danish Society for the Advancement of Business Education and became an independent university focused solely on business, economics and related social sciences. That specialist business-university structure, rather than a comprehensive multi-faculty university, is its defining fact.
CBS is organized in departments covering finance, economics, management, marketing, accounting, operations, law, digitalization and organizational studies, with research centers in maritime economics, sustainability and corporate governance among others. Graduate teaching is concentrated on the Solbjerg Plads campus and nearby buildings such as Kilen and Dalgas Have in Frederiksberg.
The school enrolls about 20,000 students, including a large master's population and a high share of international students from many European and overseas countries. Academic staff number more than 700. Alumni include former Adidas chief executive Kasper Rørsted and former Novo Nordisk chief executive Lars Rebien Sørensen.
Graduate study is known for two-year M.Sc. programs in economics and business administration and in social sciences, plus MBA study and a structured Ph.D. school in which candidates are often hired as research staff. Teaching mixes coursework, projects and a thesis. The calendar follows the Danish semester system. Ph.D. students are typically salaried. Daily life is that of a dense city campus in Frederiksberg, adjacent to central Copenhagen.
In the Grad School Navigator directory, Copenhagen Business School lists 1 master's program, in business & management.
