About Fondation Mathematique Jacques Hadamard
The Fondation Mathematique Jacques Hadamard is a scientific cooperation foundation created in 2011 on the Paris-Saclay plateau and named for mathematician Jacques Hadamard. It is a partnership, not a standalone university, joining mathematics at Universite Paris-Saclay, Ecole Polytechnique, ENS Paris-Saclay, CNRS units, and IHES.
Strengths are pure and applied mathematics. Students train in partner master's programs and doctoral schools and sit in laboratories such as the Laboratoire de mathematiques d'Orsay and Polytechnique's Centre de mathematiques Laurent Schwartz.
There is no separate foundation census; students enroll at member institutions, from France and abroad. Faculty belong to the partner schools, universities, CNRS, and IHES.
The pathway is the French master's and doctorate, with Hadamard master's scholarships and doctoral contracts in partner laboratories. Supervision is by research group. Daily life is Palaiseau, Orsay, and Saclay, south of Paris.
In the Grad School Navigator directory, Fondation Mathematique Jacques Hadamard lists 2 graduate programs in mathematics, all of them master's programs.
