About Fondation Science Mathématique de Paris

The Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris is a scientific foundation in Paris, created in 2006 to coordinate mathematical sciences across several universities and grandes écoles rather than to operate as a standalone campus university. Member institutions include departments and laboratories linked to Sorbonne University, Université Paris Cité, Université Paris-Saclay, and the École normale supérieure.

The network covers pure and applied mathematics and work at the interface with computer science and physics. Master's students and doctoral candidates are placed in member laboratories, including CNRS units hosted at those universities.

There is no single FSMP student roll; people are registered at a partner university. International master's students, doctoral candidates, and postdoctoral visitors make up a large part of the programs the foundation supports. Faculty are those of the Paris mathematics departments.

Graduate routes are research master's degrees and doctorates supervised in a host laboratory. The foundation awards master's scholarships and supports doctoral and postdoctoral stays. Seminars run across Paris campuses on the French university calendar, from autumn through early summer.

In the Grad School Navigator directory, Fondation Science Mathématique de Paris lists 1 master's program, in mathematics.
