About London School of Geometry and Number Theory
The London School of Geometry and Number Theory is a specialist doctoral partnership in London, established in 2014 by Imperial College London, King's College London and University College London. It is a Centre for Doctoral Training inside those three mathematics faculties, not a separate university.
The school trains students in geometry, number theory and related pure mathematics. Supervisors, courses and seminars come from the three partner departments rather than from a standalone institute.
Each cohort is about a dozen doctoral students. There is no undergraduate population. Faculty are mathematicians at the three colleges.
The program is a four-year PhD with a first year of courses and projects before the thesis. Students register at one partner and work across South Kensington, the Strand and Bloomsbury.
In the Grad School Navigator directory, London School of Geometry and Number Theory lists 2 graduate programs in mathematics, all of them doctoral programs.
