Berklee College of Music(Valencia Campus)

Berklee College of Music opened its Valencia campus in 2012 in the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències in Valencia, Spain. The site is a graduate campus of the Boston college founded in 1945 by Lawrence Berk as a school of contemporary music, and it was created to house master's study in Europe rather than to duplicate the large undergraduate conservatory in Massachusetts.

Instruction is organized around graduate programs in global entertainment and music business, music production, scoring for film, television and video games, and contemporary performance. Students use recording studios, scoring stages and production labs in the campus building beside the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.

The Valencia campus enrolls a few hundred students, nearly all at master's level and most of them from outside Spain, representing dozens of countries. Faculty combine Berklee instructors based in Valencia with visiting industry professionals. Alumni of the wider Berklee system include Quincy Jones, John Mayer and Melissa Etheridge.

Graduate study is by one-year coursework master's degrees with studio, scoring and project work; the campus does not run a doctoral program. The calendar is a concentrated graduate year. Students live in Valencia and work between the campus studios and the city's music and audiovisual sector.

In the Grad School Navigator directory, Berklee College of Music(Valencia Campus) lists 1 master's program, in music.
