About University of Saskatchewan

The University of Saskatchewan is a public research university in Saskatoon, Canada. The main campus stretches along the South Saskatchewan River in the city's east.

Colleges include Agriculture and Bioresources, Engineering, Medicine, Arts and Science, Law, the Edwards School of Business, and the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. The Canadian Light Source synchrotron and the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization are major research facilities used by graduate students. The year is semester-based, with heavy summer laboratory and field work in agriculture and the sciences.
